Murray Harbour, PEI

One of my cards from a previous post seemed to be the only fitting theme for what I sent out for. This time we go to Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island. All the way on the other side of Canada from me on the East coast.

In regards to the Phantom Ships, there have been many sightings reported along the provinces of the East Coast in general. I chose Murray Harbour as it was the only listing available for PEI. Very cool overall though!

Guess I'll be hijacking this post, I forgot to mention it but the continuous swap has been updated! Getting close to finishing!

Würzburg
Wolfgang Lenz
The 16th of March 1945
Oil painting 1970

Doom and gloom all around this painting, this was painted for the 25th commemoration of the bombing in Würzburg. This is one of the most well known paintings by Lenz called "The Dance of Death" (Totentanz) and also a form of "phantom realism" (surrealism with heavy undertones involving the time after WWII.)

And with that gloomy (but awesome) card came this one, I laughed so hard XD And here's the translation so you can laugh too (or be offended?)

My shitty life as a penis
I always have to hang out with two stupid balls!
My next-door neighbour is an asshole (I lost it here XD)
I have a head, which I can't think with
And a bald head and always wearing a turtle neck (lol)
And the worst: My owner constantly shakes me!

It is not easy being a penis clearly XD

And lastly some lovely, mint stamps! Nice! The World Cup stamp is just magical~

My my what a cute card, I really like the colours too. It's almost too bad I have a dislike of bunnies now since they're such a pest where I live :(

Nice looking soapbox cars! (Why are they even called this anyways...how big were soapboxes back in the day?! XD) Anyhow, there seems to be a discrepancy in my numbering since I know this isn't my 450th. I'll have to fix the problem when it isn't almost 5 am :)

Here we have a lovely looking vintage (?) card from the East coast, Maine to be exact. Sure looks good for a swim :) That four card from earlier would have been exceptionally perfect for this post XD

Mail from Hungary!

Füle, Hungary

My friend returned home to Hungary for a little bit and while she was there she had sent me the stamps I had long been waiting for. Before she left Canada she sent a package and it was covered literally in stamps, here you see it was no joke that it was literally covered... now to put these in the sink for removal XD

Some Stamps :D

My friend sent me a bunch of stamps that she got from work. Lots of the newer released ones, very cool!

Four (si4)
Beware of unlucky number four!

And here we have the Chinese character for the number four, my only question is what's with the interesting mountain things.

Also some supplementary info about the number 4 from wikipedia:
Four (四, formal writing: 肆, pinyin sì) is considered an unlucky number in ChineseKoreanVietnamese and Japanese cultures because it sounds like the word "death" (死, pinyin sǐ). Due to that, many numbered product lines skip the "four": e.g. Nokia cell phones (there is no series beginning with a 4), Palm PDAs, etc. Some buildings skip floor 4 or replace the number with the letter "F", particularly in heavily Asian areas.

Nacionalni Park Kornati
Croatia

I forget at times that Croatia has a coastline, and a beautiful one at that. The most interesting thing about this card (and I do take this with a grain of salt) it was written by a Croatian pop idol. Go figure lol

This is literally a card that fits the bill, anatomy drawings ftw!! The sender told me she got this card in Berlin, how come I didn't see any cool cards like this when I was there? :(

Is that a beard? I knew owls were wise but does a beard make them double wise? XD (Happy movember y'all!) I also ended up messing up the order, glad I caught it before it became so many entries ahead (I'm tired...)
